Several warning and indicator lamps will light up briefly as a functional check when the ignition is switched on. They will switch off after a few seconds.

What do the Golf Mk7 Lane Assist display symbols mean?
Green lane lines mean markings are detected and the system is ready. Yellow lane lines with a steering wheel mean the system is actively correcting. Grey lines mean no markings are detected.
Does the Golf Mk7 instrument cluster show Lane Assist status?
Yes. Lane marking detection, system readiness and active corrections are all shown in the instrument cluster display using coloured lane symbols.
What happens when Golf Mk7 Lane Assist cannot see lane markings?
