Questions & answers
Removing and installing hinges — Volkswagen Golf Mk7
How do I remove the Golf Mk7 rear lid hinges?
Lower the moulded headliner in the hinge area, disconnect any wiring routed through the hinge, mark positions, unbolt from body and from rear lid, and remove.
Are the Golf Mk7 tailgate hinges adjustable?
Yes. The hinge mounting holes are elongated, allowing fore/aft and side-to-side adjustment to achieve even panel gaps.
