Volkswagen Golf Mk7 Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing knock sensor 1 -G61

This page covers removing the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 knock sensor 1 -G61- — remove the AC compressor from its bracket and tie it up out of the way first, then disconnect the connector.

Removing
–  Remove air conditioner compressor from bracket and tie up → Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr.87.
   
–  Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
–  Unscrew bolt -2- and remove knock sensor 1 -G61-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install air conditioner compressor → Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr.87.
Specified torques
→ Chapter „Assembly overview - ignition system“
