Remove the tank flap unit, access the connector through the right luggage compartment side trim, disconnect it, unbolt the actuator and remove.
What does the Golf Mk7 tank flap actuator do?
It electrically locks and unlocks the fuel filler flap as part of the central locking system. When you lock the car, the actuator secures the flap.
