Volkswagen Golf Mk7 Owners Manual: Drink holders in the rear centre armrest

Fold the armrest down to open access, fold it back up to close — this page covers both the fold mechanism and the adjustable holder inserts.

First read and observe the introductory information and safety warnings
  • To open, fold the centre armrest down.
  • To close, fold the centre armrest up.
  • To adjust the drink holder to the size of the cup, pull the inserts   or ② upwards and reposition them to fit the size of the cup  . The inserts can be placed in different positions.

Some drink holder designs allow you to adjust to the size of the cup by turning the inserts at a 180°angle.
