From this point down to the bend the distance amounts to

How do I prepare a new Golf Mk7 windscreen for installation?
Clean the bonding edge over a width of 25 mm all around with cleaning solution, apply primer if specified, and position the sealing lip. No precoating is applied to new windows.
Is a new Golf Mk7 windscreen precoated with primer?
No. The manual states no factory precoating is applied. The installer must prepare the bonding edge according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
