Risk of death due to high voltage
The high voltage system carries high voltage. Electrical shocks will cause serious injuries or death.
–  People having electronic medical devices for life support or health maintenance in or on their bodies are prohibited from working on the high-voltage system. Life-support and health-maintaining devices include, for example, internal analgesia pumps, implanted defibrillators, pacemakers, insulin pumps and hearing aids.
–  Have a qualified technician de-energise the high-voltage system.
 
 
     
Danger of injury due to motor starting unexpectedly
It is difficult to determine whether electric or hybrid vehicles have been activated for driving. It is possible that body parts may be pinched or drawn into moving parts.
–  Switch off ignition.
–  Deposit the ignition key outside the passenger compartment.
 
 
     
Risk of damage to high-voltage cables
Improper handling can damage the insulation of high-voltage cables or connectors.
–  Never support yourself on high-voltage cables or connectors.
–  Never support tools on high-voltage cables or connectors.
–  Never bend high-voltage cables tightly or kink them.
–  When joining high-voltage connectors, observe coding.
