What is the pedestrian protection element on the Golf Mk7?
A foam or honeycomb component on the front of the impact bar designed to reduce leg injuries in a pedestrian collision. Not fitted on all variants.
What torque are the Golf Mk7 front impact bar bolts?
55 Nm for the main mounting bolts and 8 Nm for the guide bracket bolts. These are crash-relevant fasteners — correct torque is critical.
