Caution: never use any object to clean spray jets. This page gives the correct approach for an uneven Volkswagen Golf Mk7 spray field: remove and flush the jet with water.

Caution Danger of causing damage. Do not use any objects for cleaning spray jets!   Note In case of uneven spray field due to impurities in the spray jet: remove spray jet and rinse it through with water, opposite to direction of spray.
