Volkswagen Golf Mk7 Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing emblem with model designation, “R-Line”

Using torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-, this page covers removing the R-Line emblem from the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 radiator grille — only possible once the grille itself is removed, then unscrew the bolt from the inner side.

  Note

Only remove when radiator grille -3- is removed.

Removing and installing emblem with model designation, “R-Line”

Removing
–  Removing radiator grille → Chapter
–  Unscrew bolt -2- on inner side of radiator grille -3-.
–  Remove “R-Line” emblem -1- from radiator grille -3- towards front.
 
Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal observing the following:

Component Specified torques
»R Line« emblem 2.0 Nm
