Assembly overview - driver side airbag

1 -  Catch
  • To release, use a Torx screwdriver T25 of approx. 100 mm length
2 -  Steering column electronics control unit -J527-
  • With airbag coil connector and return ring with slip ring -F138-
  • Assembly overview → Electrical system; Rep. gr.94
3 -  Steering wheel without multifunction button
  • Equipment version
  • Assembly overview → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.48
4 -  Wiring harness without wires for multifunction button
  • For driver side airbag igniter -N95
  • Renewing → Chapter
  • Press into recesses in steering wheel to secure it.
5 -  Driver side airbag
  • With driver side airbag igniter -N95-

   Removing and installing → Chapter
6 -  Bolt
  • Tightening torque → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.48
   
7 -  Steering wheel with multifunction button
  • Equipment version
  • Assembly overview → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.48.
8 -  Wiring harness with wires for multifunction button
  • For driver side airbag igniter -N95
  • Renewing → Chapter
  • Press into recesses in steering wheel to secure it
9 -  Driver side airbag
  • With driver side airbag igniter -N95-
