Volkswagen Golf Mk7 Owners Manual: Stowage compartment in the roof console (glasses compartment)

Fig. 110 shows the glasses compartment in the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 roof console. Press and release the button to open it, press the cover up until it engages to close — this page confirms it can hold more than just glasses, as long as the item is light enough not to fall out when the cover opens.

The stowage compartment can be used for storing glasses or other objects.

To open, press and release the button   (arrow).

To close, press the cover upwards until it engages.
