Shown for a left-hand drive vehicle, this page covers removing the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 rear centre console vent duct — remove the centre console first, noting a blanking cap is fitted on vehicles without rear vents.

  Note

Removing
–  Remove centre console → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
  Note
If the vehicle is not provided with rear vents, a cap -1- is fitted on air distribution housing. Cap -1- is removed in -direction of arrow A-.
   
–  Swing air duct -2- upwards in -direction of arrow B-, pull it in -direction of arrow C- out of catches in air distribution housing and remove it.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
