How do I adjust the Golf Mk7 front door striker pin?
Loosen the striker bolt, shift the pin to achieve correct door latch engagement (no rattle, moderate closing effort), then re-tighten to the specified torque.
Does the Golf Mk7 striker pin use a different mounting method?
Yes. The manual notes that the threaded plate differs from previous models — the striker cannot be adjusted using the old method.
