Removing and installing water drain hoses

Removing front water drain hose
–  Remove A-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Remove moulded headliner → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Pull the front water drain hose -2- out of clips -4- and drain grommets -6-.
Removing rear water drain hose
–  Remove C-pillar trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Remove moulded headliner → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Pull the rear water drain hose -1- out of clips -4- and drain grommets -5-.

    How do I remove the Golf Mk7 front sunroof drain hose?
    Remove the A-pillar trim, detach the hose from the sunroof frame connector and pull it out through the pillar. Installation is the reverse.

    Yes. On NAR-market vehicles, the left rear drain hose exits in the left wheel housing instead of the C-pillar base. The manual notes this difference.
